Welcome to the CRN Speech and Debate Website!

CR North’s Speech and Debate Team competes in various leagues:

• Southeastern PA Debate League (SPDL), which is comprised of both Bucks and Montgomery county schools
• National and Pennsylvania Catholic Forensics League (NCFL and PCFL, respectively)
• National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA)

There are 5 forms of forensics to choose from: Congress, Policy, Public Forum, Lincoln Douglas, and Speech – with Speech having 2 separate sub-categories: Interpretation and Public Address.

Tournaments are held mostly on Wednesdays and on various weekends, which is dependent upon NFL or NCFL dates. Practices are regularly scheduled for Tuesdays evenings (7-9 PM) and are currently being held virtually and in-person depending on the week.  The season runs September – June.
